Sculpey Sculpture Camp 2025
Let Them Build Their Own World (Literaly)
Art isn’t just for canvases and paper—sometimes you have to get your hands into it. Our Sculpey Sculpture Camp guides young artists through creating characters, creatures, and imaginative scenes in three-dimensional form. From twisting wire armatures to baking and painting polymer clay, your child will discover the joy of bringing their ideas off the page and into real life.
Why 3D Art Is So Powerful
Engage Both Mind & Hands: Sculpting is a fully tactile experience, strengthening fine motor skills and spatial reasoning as children shape, smooth, and detail their creations.
Fuel Boundless Creativity: Kids can design anything they can imagine—magical beasts, cartoon mini-figures—and see instant results.
Build Lasting Confidence: Watching a whimsical figure come to life under their own fingertips teaches that “If I can sculpt this, I can do anything.”
Improve Problem-Solving: Planning wire armatures and balancing structures encourages your child to think critically about stability, proportion, and design.
What to Expect
Hands-On Instruction:
Each morning begins with a quick demonstration (e.g., wire armature basics, Sculpey modeling tips).
Then, campers dive right in—rolling, blending, forming, and fine-tuning their sculptures under expert guidance.
Safe, Top-Quality Materials:
We provide polymer clay (Sculpey) in various colors, plus wire for armatures, sculpting tools, and paints for finishing touches.
Professional‑Grade Paint for ages 10+ is included at no extra cost. Younger campers use safe, washable acrylics formulated for kids.
Baking & Painting in Camp:
Sculptures will be baked so campers can paint them once cooled. No guesswork or wait times at home—finished pieces are ready to display or play with by week’s end!
Outdoor Breaks & Inspiration:
Corica Park’s scenic setting offers fresh air and natural inspiration. Kids will get movement breaks and the chance to observe shapes/textures in nature to spark new ideas.
Small Groups, Big Results:
We limit class sizes to 18 campers, ensuring each child gets one‑on‑one guidance and a stress‑free creative zone.
