Four Camps, One Mission: Spark Lifelong Creativity

Give Your Child a Summer of Imagination, Confidence & Color

Heart-Centered Art Camps in the Heart of the Bay Area

This summer, trade screens for sketchbooks and let creativity take center stage. At Revels Atelier, every brushstroke and ink line becomes a chance for your child to explore, problem‑solve and discover the joy of making something uniquely their own.

Why Art Matters More Than Ever

  • Boosts Brainpower: Drawing and painting activate both hemispheres of the brain, strengthening critical thinking and fine‑motor skills that translate to math, reading and science.

  • Builds Confidence: Completing a finished piece—then hearing “Wow!” from friends and family—teaches kids they can tackle challenges and persevere.

  • Nurtures Emotional Well‑Being: Art offers a healthy outlet for self‑expression, reducing stress and helping children articulate feelings they can’t always put into words.

  • Fosters Empathy & Vision: From comic storytelling to plein‑air landscapes, kids learn to observe the world closely and imagine new possibilities.

Meet Your Teacher:
Robert Revels

With 25 years of college‑level teaching and awards from the Society of Illustrators & Spectrum Fantastic Art, Robert has guided students who now animate for Marvel Studios, Disney, ILM and DreamWorks. He believes every child deserves the same nurturing, skill‑building environment—minus the art‑school price tag.

Robert Revels was one of my favorite instructors in college, so much so that I and several other classmates took his class multiple times. His critiques are always insightful and make a visible improvement towards the final, whether it be design sense, composition, or color. I learned a ton from Mr. Revels’ class and came out with a much stronger portfolio.
— Linda Chen
During my time at college, I was fortunate enough to take a painting class with Robert. He is a wonderful and dedicated instructor who guides his students with passion and patience. He would find every students strengths and weakness to help shape them in preparation for their future career endeavors. Not only is he a fantastic educator, but also a very friendly and humble person. I’ve learned so much from him, and I have so much to thank him for being where I am now in my career.
